Discussion
A cold front moved through the region yesterday with scattered showers and thunderstorms and it has paved the way for a stretch of cool and dry weather. Sunshine will return in full force today, but temperatures will be on the cool side for the end of September and the breeze will pick up noticeably from a northwesterly direction. The next few late nights could feature overnight low temperature readings in the 40’s in many suburban locations. In terms of rainfall, high pressure will remain in control during the next few days and virtually assure dry conditions in the Mid-Atlantic region until late Sunday or Sunday night.
