Discussion
High pressure will move offshore today and a weak low pressure system will push into the Mid-Atlantic region from the Tennessee Valley. As a result, showers are a threat here by later tonight and a thunderstorm can pop up after midnight. High pressure will return by mid-week with dry weather and slightly milder-than-normal temperatures.
