Discussion
High pressure will move offshore today and a low pressure system will push into the Mid-Atlantic region from the Tennessee Valley. As a result, showers are a threat here by early tonight - possibly just in time to have an impact on World Series Game #3 which is set to start around 8pm - and a thunderstorm is possible in the late night hours. High pressure will return by mid-week with dry weather and milder-than-normal temperatures for the second half of the week.
