Discussion
A cold front will close in on the region today bringing with it a good chance of showers; especially, later in the afternoon and early tonight. Skies should clear after midnight as a colder air mass pushes into the Mid-Atlantic region and a stiff NW breeze will develop following the passage of the cold front. The next couple of days will feature windy conditions, daytime temperatures well below-normal for late April despite some sunshine on each day, and overnight lows in the 30’s in most suburbs. Some modification will take place in temperatures during the late week period and the weekend should begin on a quiet and mild note.
