Discussion
An active weather pattern continues for another in the Tennessee Valley and it can include some strong-to-severe thunderstorm activity with potential damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours. A slow-moving cold front associated with an intensifying upper-level trough will be the main culprit for the numerous showers and thunderstorms. High pressure will take over on Friday and it looks like it may set the stage for a pretty decent Memorial Day weekend though it will get quite warm by Monday.
