Discussion
Yesterday featured high heat and humidity in the Mid-Atlantic region, but a transition begins today to more comfortable conditions. A weak front will settle into the area later today and tonight generating some new shower and thunderstorm activity and any shower or storm that forms can produce heavy rainfall. A strong cool front will sweep through the region tomorrow night and its passage will usher in a refreshing air mass for Friday, Saturday and Sunday with comfortable temperatures and lower humidity levels.
