Discussion
Strong high pressure stays in control today and it’ll remain quite comfortable around here with low humidity levels. This same high pressure system will push off the eastern seaboard this weekend and a southwesterly flow of air will develop on its back side allowing for an increase in temperatures and overall humidity levels. A weak frontal system could spark some shower and thunderstorm activity in the Mid-Atlantic region from later Sunday into Labor Day Monday.
