Discussion

Low pressure pushes to our northwest today and it can bring us some afternoon and evening rain shower activity along with relatively mild conditions.  Another low pressure system will develop in the southeastern states on Saturday and it can grind its way far enough to the north to impact the Mid-Atlantic region on Super Bowl Sunday. With no real cold air in place, any precipitation here on Sunday is likely to be in the form of rain, but a wintry mix of rain and snow cannot be completely ruled out in some of the suburbs if indeed this system does indeed head this far up the coast.
