Discussion
Strong high pressure ridging continues to be centered over the central states and active weather has developed in northwest flow across its outer perimeter region. As a result, there will be occasional showers here at just about any time and scattered thunderstorms are likely as well…some of the rain that falls in this unsettled period can be heavy at times. Temperatures today are likely to be held in the mid-to-upper 70’s for afternoon highs, but could climb back into the middle 80’s on Friday following the passage of a warm front and ahead of the next cool front.
