Discussion
It has been quite dry in the Mid-Atlantic region during the past several weeks with below-normal rainfall so far during November, and this dry spell has followed the drier-than-normal months of September and October. While not expecting a heavy rain event, low pressure will bring some welcomed rainfall to the region tonight as low pressure moves in a general eastward direction from the Midwest to the Mid-Atlantic. And, with a cold and dry air mass in place, there is the chance that snow can mix in at times in some northern and western suburban locations.
