Discussion
A major winter storm will have significant impacts on much of the nation this weekend and that will include the Tennessee Valley. The chance of a mixed bag of rain, ice, and snow will increase by Friday evening and the threat of wintry precipitation can continue all the way into Sunday. One final note, the threat of power outages is quite high as a result of the likely buildup of ice in portions of the region during this upcoming weekend winter weather event.
