Discussion
A cold front passed through the area on Wednesday and its passage will result in moderately cold conditions for the remainder of the week. The winds that intensified following the frontal passage will remain quite noticeable today with gusts from the northwest of up to 30 mph. Looking ahead, a storm system will trek across the southern states this weekend and it can impact the Philly metro region with a mix of rain and snow from later Sunday into Sunday night. Following the passage of that system, a noticeably milder weather pattern will kick into gear across the northeastern part of the country for the bulk of next week.
