Discussion
The next couple of days will be quite unsettled in the Mid-Atlantic region as the heat and humidity build to uncomfortable levels. Showers and thunderstorms are possible both today and tomorrow with the best chance during the afternoon and evening hours. Some of the rain that falls through tomorrow evening can be heavy at times and some of the storms can reach severe levels. A frontal system will cross the area on Friday night and its passage will lead to dry and more comfortable conditions on Saturday with noticeably lower humidity levels.
