Monsoonal moisture will continue to impact the region today, raising the chance of PM showers and thunderstorms, and helping to keep temperatures down in reasonable territory. Any shower or thunderstorm can produce heavy rainfall resulting in a localized threat of flash flooding. By the latter part of the week, overall moisture levels will be on the decrease, and temperatures will be on the rise with the middle 90’s back on the table for Friday and Saturday afternoon highs and then 100-degree mark may be reached on Sunday and Monday.
