Discussion

High pressure will return to the area today on the heels of the latest frontal passage and the work week will end on a more comfortable note with lowering humidity values. A stretch of unsettled weather begins on Sunday with occasional rain likely to end the weekend and the rain can get heavy at times. The unsettled weather can last all the way into the middle next week with additional showers from time-to-time and it’ll turn very cool for this time of year. The culprit to the unsettled and cool weather pattern will be strong high pressure to our north combined with a stalled out frontal boundary zone that will allow multiple systems to ride along and bring moisture into the Mid-Atlantic region.
