A frontal boundary zone will move into the area today and this should help to knock off a few degrees for today’s highs compared to Tuesday. There will be the chance of showers and thunderstorms later today and the chance of showers and thunderstorms continues for tonight and Thursday when temperatures will climb back into the 90’s. Any storm that forms later today, tonight and on Thursday can be strong-to-severe with heavy downpours on the table. The same frontal system should clear through the region by the end of the week paving the way for a more comfortable Labor Day weekend.
