Discussion

A frontal boundary zone will drop to the south of here today and this should knock off several degrees for today’s highs compared to Tuesday as a low-level easterly flow has formed. There will be the chance of showers today and the chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight and Thursday when temperatures will climb back to very warm levels near the 90-degree mark. Any storm that forms later tonight and on Thursday can be strong-to-severe with heavy downpours again on the table. The same front should clear through the region by the end of the week paving the way for a more comfortable Labor Day weekend.
