A frontal boundary zone has dropped to the south of here and this should knock off several degrees for today’s highs compared to Tuesday as a low-level east-to-northeast flow has formed. There will be the chance of light rain or drizzle today and the chance of showers and thunderstorms later tonight and on Thursday when temperatures will climb back to very warm levels. Any storm that forms later tonight and on Thursday can be strong with heavy downpours on the table. The same front should clear through the region by the end of the week paving the way for a comfortable Labor Day weekend.
