3:15 PM | Strong thunderstorms now forming, but still hours away
Paul Dorian
Scattered strong thunderstorms are now developing across upstate Pennsylvania, but are still several hours away from the big cities in the Mid-Atlantic region. The best timetable for these strong thunderstorms is as follows: New York City region between 6PM and midnight, Philly region between 8PM and 2AM and the DC region after 10PM. Some of these storms will contain damaging wind gusts, hail and heavy rain with the best chance for severe weather from Philly north and east to New York City.
