Discussion
Brutal heat and humidity continue to advance eastward from the nation’s mid-section and will arrive tomorrow. The worst of the upcoming scorching heat wave will occur on Thursday and Friday as high temperatures will flirt with 100 degrees on both days. Saturday will also be very hot and humid with perhaps a few degrees shaved off the highs resulting in the mid-to-upper 90’s. Real relief does look like it will come in the form of a cool frontal passage later on Monday so that by Tuesday afternoon our high temperatures may be once again confined to the 80’s.
