Discussion
Significant rainfall accompanied a frontal passage late yesterday and that system will pave the way for somewhat less humid air for today and tomorrow. Temperatures, however, will still likely reach 90 degrees today and tomorrow - thanks in large part to lots of July sunshine on both days. Another “blow-torch” of an air mass will pour into the region for the 2nd half of the week culminating in another scorching Friday with highs on Friday afternoon reaching the mid-to-upper 90’s. Not much relief is expected this weekend as temperatures will likely reach the low-to-mid 90’s on both weekend days.
