Discussion
Many parts of the New York City region received much needed significant rainfall yesterday as a frontal system pushed into the Mid-Atlantic from the Great Lakes. It’ll become more comfortable today as slightly less humid air moves in; however, high temperatures will actually get higher than yesterday due to copious amounts of sunshine. The heat and humidity will then build up again later this week with very hot and humid conditions likely on Friday. The weekend also looks very warm with high temperatures expected to be near 90 degrees both days following the sweltering low-to-mid 90’s on Friday.
