A strong thunderstorm will affect the southern and central parts of Chester County with some brief heavy rain during the early afternoon hours. This storm is moving to the northeast from northern Maryland and will affect these regions between 1 and 3PM. More heavy rain is likely on occasion from Saturday night into Tuesday as a significant rain event unfolds.
