Discussion
High pressure will control our weather into the day tomorrow, but high clouds will be noticeable today as a forerunner of changes coming. These clouds represent the first signs of a storm system that will ride up the east coast from northern Florida during the mid-week time period and it will generate significant rainfall in the Mid-Atlantic by Thursday morning with 1-3 inches possible. Showers will continue to be a threat on Thursday, but as we approach the weekend, an improving trend will develop perhaps leading to dry and moderately cool conditions for the weekend.
