Discussion
Low pressure is gathering strength to our southwest and it will bring on a significant rain event here from late tomorrow afternoon into early Friday. Total rainfall amounts from this storm by noon Friday will likely be in the half to one inch range. The weekend will start off mild and will then gradually turn colder with the coldest air moving in Sunday night. On another topic, the solar storm that bombarded the Earth with radiation yesterday has now subsided; therefore, the chance to see northern lights with this solar event has ended.
