Discussion

A very compact nor’easter will spread rain and wind to the Mid-Atlantic coastal regions today and accumulating snow to inland locations including parts of the I-95 corridor from around Baltimore, MD to points north and east of there. The immediate DC metro region is likely to have a just a little precipitation in the form of a mix of rain and snow for awhile today that could then change to all snow late with no accumulations expected as the the southwestern edge of the accumulating snows will remain to our northeast. Once this system passes by, the overall weather pattern will change for awhile and significant improvement by later this weekend will take place with noticeably milder conditions.
