Discussion
The tropics are currently quite active with one system likely to have a major impact on Texas and Louisiana in coming days with tremendous rainfall potential and another system sitting right near the coast of Florida. Both systems will have to be monitored closely over the next several days. The first system could eventually make a turn to the northeast and impact this area after likely pounding Texas and Louisiana with heavy rainfall. The second wave will probably be a slow-mover and undergo some intensification in coming days right near the Southeast US coastline.
