Discussion
Strong high pressure is nearly stationary over the western Atlantic Ocean, and it will continuously pump tropical air from south-to-north along the eastern seaboard in coming days. As a result, it stays very warm around here with uncomfortably high humidity levels and there will be a daily shot of showers and thunderstorms primarily focused on the afternoon and evening hours.
