A light flow of air off the ocean will bring enough moisture into the region today for some light rain or drizzle which should be primarily focused on the morning and mid-day hours. A frontal system will approach later tomorrow bringing us the chance of showers from late in the day into tomorrow night. High pressure edges in during the upcoming weekend likely resulting in dry and mild conditions on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

7:00 AM | *Another mild day around here, but then a colder and unsettled pattern returns for the remainder of the week*

After a mild day today, it’ll turn colder tonight and it remains unsettled and on the chilly side for the remainder of the week. The threat will increase for rain showers early tonight and then it could turn cold enough for some snow shower activity towards daybreak on Thursday. We’ll have to wait until Sunday and Monday for the return of drier and warmer weather to the Denver metro region.

High pressure builds into the region today following the passage of a cool front late in the day on Monday. A series of fronts and weak low pressure systems will impact the region during the second half of the week with the threat of showers from time-to-time and perhaps a couple of thunderstorms mixed into the picture. High pressure will return to the Mid-Atlantic region this weekend.
