7:00 AM | *Turns warmer for Tuesday and Wednesday following passage of warm front*

Paul Dorian

A warm front will lift northward through the region later today and it’ll turn warmer around here for Tuesday and Wednesday. After high temperatures in the lower 60’s to start the new work week, they’ll climb well into the 70’s on Tuesday afternoon and to near 80 degrees on Wednesday. The next front to arrive here will be a cold front and its passage will usher in cooler air for the late week time period. Both of these frontal systems – warm front early in the week and cold front at mid-week – should pass through the Mid-Atlantic region without much, if any, in the way of rainfall.

7:00 AM | ***A wintry week of weather across much of the Rocky Mountain States***

Paul Dorian

Low pressure will bring some more snow to the region early today with limited additional accumulations and temperatures hovering around the freezing mark. The second half of the week can bring significant snow accumulations to the entire area as multiple storm systems may have an impact between Wednesday and Saturday. The details still have to be ironed out for the second half of the week, but a very wintry week of weather is in the cards for much of the region from Colorado-to-New Mexico…stay tuned.

7:00 AM | *Overall warm weather pattern continues here this weekend and for at least the first half of next week*

Paul Dorian

A cold front will slowly push across the region today possibly resulting in more shower activity, maybe even an isolated PM thunderstorm. It’ll be a bit cooler today compared to Thursday given the abundance of clouds in the region associated with the frontal system. The weekend is shaping up quite nicely with some sunshine likely on both days and high temperatures not far from the 80-degree mark. One other note, it is time once again to turn the clocks back an hour as of 2AM Sunday.

Paul Dorian

A cold front will cross through the region this morning and it can actually produce showers in the I-95 corridor region…something not seen around here in weeks. A noticeable wind will develop as the front arrives with gusts to 30 mph or so and then colder air will push in tonight leading to a crisp fall weekend. Nearby high pressure will be in control of the weather this weekend generating plenty of sunshine on both days to go along with the cool conditions. One final note, it is time once again to turn the clocks back an hour as of 2AM Sunday.
