High pressure remains in control for the next couple of days providing us with plenty of sunshine and pleasantly warm temperatures reaching well up in the 70’s. A low pressure system and its trailing cold front will bring us a threat of showers from late Friday into Saturday and then Canadian high pressure to our northwest will take control of the weather for Sunday and Monday with plenty of sunshine, breezy, and a bit cooler conditions.

An unsettled and warm remainder of the week is in the offing for the Tennessee Valley with a daily chance of showers and thunderstorms. Temperatures should reach the middle 70’s this afternoon and then 80+ degrees during the rest of the week. In fact, the warming trend can bring temperatures to the middle 80’s over the weekend to go along with the unsettled conditions and a daily shot at showers and thunderstorms.
