High pressure will continue to generate tranquil and warm conditions around here today, but a cold front will head in this direction on Thursday. This next front will raise the chance of showers and thunderstorms later tomorrow and early tomorrow night, but it doesn’t look as widespread of an event as we have experienced in recent days. High pressure should follow the frontal passage for the end of the week with rain-free and warm conditions likely on Friday, but another disturbance can bring us showers during the second half of the upcoming weekend.
