A warming trend will begin today in the Mid-Atlantic region and temperatures should reach the lower 60’s this afternoon, well up into the 60’s on Friday, and then likely to near 80 degrees on Saturday afternoon. A cold front will slide through the region late Saturday and then stall to our south and it can cause a couple of showers in the area.

It does warm up rather quickly later in the week and the first half of the weekend is likely to feature high temperatures in the upper 70’s although showers may be a threat on Saturday with an approaching cold frontal system.
