A very warm, humid and unsettled weather pattern for the Tennessee Valley will continue right through the Father’s Day weekend and into the early part of next week. There will be a daily shot at showers and thunderstorms and temperatures should climb to near 90 degrees for highs on most days through the period.

Humidity will be noticeably higher today as a more tropical airmass filters into the region with high pressure strengthening over the Gulf of America.
