6:00 AM | **An unsettled stretch of weather begins on Sunday with rain from time-to-time to mid-week...some of the rain can get heavy and it'll become quite cool**

Paul Dorian

A stretch of unsettled weather begins on Sunday with occasional rain likely to end the weekend and the rain can get heavy at times. The unsettled weather can last all the way into the middle next week with additional showers from time-to-time and it’ll turn very cool for this time of year. The culprit to the unsettled and cool weather pattern will be strong high pressure to our north combined with a stalled out frontal boundary zone that will allow multiple systems to ride along and bring moisture into the Mid-Atlantic region.

6:00 AM | *Comfortable conditions continue across the Mid-Atlantic region with Canadian-born high pressure in control*

Paul Dorian

High pressure that originated over central Canada will remain in control of the weather around here for the next few days with plenty of sunshine on a daily basis and continuing comfortable temperatures and humidity levels. The next frontal system arrives late in the week, but it looks rather weak and this could be a rain-free event. A stronger system could arrive by the latter part of the weekend and early part of next week with a better chance for some widespread rainfall in the Mid-Atlantic region.
