A cold front passed through the region in the overnight hours and has ushered in a cooler air mass to the Mid-Atlantic that will generally feature high temperatures in the 80’s during the next few days. High pressure builds into the area over the next 24 hours and it looks like it’ll stay in control through the upcoming weekend although a shower or thunderstorm can pop up from time-to-time.
