There was much relief on Tuesday with temperatures some twenty lower than Monday, but the trend will reverse today, and afternoon highs will be some 5-10 degrees higher than yesterday. Hot weather is in store for the next several days beginning on Thursday and 100-degree highs are on the table for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
